• Ensure an optimal quality system and define and supervise quality standards in coordination with the executive manager and Group Quality.
• Develop and ensure the implementation of standards, KPIs and parameters for the production process.
• Ensure the registration and review of quality processes in relation to existing optimization and standardization potentials in the plant.
• Analyze the results and ensure the implementation of optimizing measures in coordination with the executive manager and in collaboration with Group Quality.
• Ensure and carry out customer audits in the plant and ensure the implementation of the derived measures for quality improvement.
• Decide on the approval or further usage of materials and production batches that deviates from the target state, if necessary, in coordination with the executive manager.
• Ensure the correct processing of customer complaints in close coordination with the respective plant manager.
• Ensure and implement the internal and legal parameters and guidelines concerning hygiene, HACCP, food and job safety and environmental protection.
• Participate in the planning of staff-related, issue-related and financial resources for the responsibility area on the basis of information from subordinate areas.
• Ensure compliance with budgets as approved by the executive board as well as initiate appropriate measures in case of imminent and assessed divergences.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in a related discipline (Chemistry, agriculture, pharmacy, engineering)
• 5 years experience in quality systems preferably in food or pharmaceutical fields
• Excellent command of English language
• SAP experience is a plus
• Leadership skills
