Investment Manager
Requirements:
• Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting and/or business administration or management
• Minimum bachelor’s degree or local equivalent. MBA an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience of which at least 3 years must be relevant experience and expertise in SME/business finance, accounting or related. credit management or SME/business consulting.
• Deal origination/networking/sales.
• Financial statement analysis.
• Report writing skills
• Financial modeling and structuring.
• Credit management skills.
• Business consulting skills (communicating, presenting, structured problem solving, project management).
• Basic understanding of loan and legal documentation and the ability to explain key concepts to clients.
Job Role:
The Investment Manager is responsible for sourcing, screening, analyzing, structuring, negotiating and implementing investment transactions in line with organization investment strategy, policy and processes, and to provide pre-finance business support to (prospective) clients. The role’s main objective is to achieve transaction value targets (“money out”), while adhering to investment quality standards, and to deliver tangible value to the client.
