Description
1. Contact dealerships, and coordinate wholesale, retail vehicle, and accessory sales activities with dealer principal, general manager and/or department managers.
2. Monitor dealers’ adherence to policies and procedures, and participation in sales, marketing, and advertising programs.
3. Analyze individual dealership sales, market penetration, and vehicle inventory.
4. Develop and recommend marketing/promotional strategies to assists dealership in maximizing wholesale/retail sales volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
5. Coordinate, plan, and implement sales strategy with knowledge and cooperation of district counterparts.
6. Identifies dealerships’ financial and operational deficiencies and make recommendations to dealer management for improved performance, including sales pay plans, processes, etc.
7. Ensures dealers adhere to franchise operating standards and takes corrective actions to improve the market representation.
8. Inform dealers on new products, product and company developments, incentives and promotions.
9. Develops and conducts retail sales process and product knowledge training. Trains dealership personnel in effective customer relations techniques
10. Coordinates local trade shows, auto shows, and promotional events. 11. Prepares reports detailing progress of each dealer and competitive market information & monthly reports on region/district for top management/supervisor.
Qualifications
- Five to Six years of professional exempt level automotive retail/wholesale experience including three years as Assist. District Sales Manager.
- Preferred prior automotive retail sales experience such as Sales Representative, Sales Supervisor, F&T Supervisor, Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, Effective oral and written communication skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power point skills & and some overnight travel required.
Gender: Any
Experience: 6 - 9 Years.
